Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

You may use the model withdrawal form below or the withdrawal function at the top of this page; neither is mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as in the original transaction; you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Once a withdrawal takes effect, a certificate already issued becomes invalid and is marked as withdrawn on its public verification page.

Early expiry (digital content)

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium (here: the signed certificate), the right of withdrawal expires early once we have begun performing the contract and

  1. you have expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period has expired,
  2. you have acknowledged that by giving this agreement you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and
  3. we have provided you with confirmation of the contract pursuant to § 312f BGB on a durable medium.

Both the agreement and the acknowledgement are obtained actively when you place your order; you receive the contract confirmation, including the wording of your declaration, by email immediately afterwards.
